So you’re hunting for the perfect coffee table, couch or credenza. You also believe the world has made enough furniture already. You’re in the right place! Déjà Décor makes buying pre‑loved pieces feel as easy and safe as buying new – minus the waste.

Here’s how it works (and why it’s a little different from the marketplaces you might be used to):

1. Find your future favourite

Browse our curated catalogue of pre‑loved pieces. Use filters and categories to narrow down your style or just enjoy the treasure hunt. Every item has photos, dimensions and an honest condition report.

2. Pay up front – we’ve got you covered

When you find The One, click “Add to cart” and checkout. We take your payment at that moment, but the seller doesn’t get paid until you have the item in your hands. That way, everyone has peace of mind.

3. Pick a delivery slot that matches the seller’s schedule

This is the only “homework” you have: choose a delivery window that works for both you and the seller. Each listing shows the seller’s available pickup dates/times. Select a slot during checkout – we’ll take care of the coordination. No meet‑ups, no parking‑lot exchanges, no awkward haggling. All deliveries are handled by our trusted partner; 49van.

4. Sit back while we do the heavy lifting

Once your order is placed, we collect the item from the seller, inspect it (so you don’t get any nasty surprises) and then bring it to your address at the agreed time. Make sure you’ve measured your space and notified your building of any delivery rules – our drivers appreciate hassle‑free access!

5. Confirm and enjoy

When your item arrives, check that it matches the listing. If everything’s as expected, click “Confirm delivery” in your account. At that point, we release payment to the seller. If there’s a problem, let us know right away and we’ll resolve it.

A few things to keep in mind

No price negotiation: Sellers set their prices. You can accept or pass, but there’s no haggling through messages.
No pick‑ups: For safety and convenience, all items are delivered by our partner; 49van. Your delivery fee is calculated at checkout.
Honesty is our policy: We inspect every piece we move. If an item doesn’t meet the description, we’ll make it right.
Your money is protected: Sellers are only paid once you confirm the delivery – not before.
