The jewelry box did not require any repairs and the original velvet lining is in excellent condition. A mirror was added to the inside flip lid.
The piece was refinished in 10 hours using multiple high quality furniture paints of different hues along with a delicate decoupage, transfers and a pearl applique, giving the piece an etheral feel and finally finished with multiple layers of high quality sealants for long lasting durability. - Home environment

Hand-refinished bombe-style jewelry chest with a ballerina, garden roses, and swan decoupage design in sage, burgundy, and smoky-grey tones.
The lid has pearl appliqué detailing and opens to reveal a newly installed mirror. Inside is a black-lined organizational tray for jewelry and keepsakes.
