Edwin Matthews Signed Limited Edition Art Print – "The Rookery" (201/500)

This is a beautifully framed, limited-edition fine art print by acclaimed Canadian landscape artist Edwin Matthews (1924–2014). Titled "The Rookery" (indicated by the hand-written inscription on the matting), this piece beautifully highlights Matthews' iconic mastery of the rugged Canadian wilderness, capturing a serene colony of birds nested in a wetland landscape. Hand-signed by the artist in pencil and individually numbered 201 of 500, it is an excellent collector's piece for enthusiasts of heritage Canadian art and landscape illustration. Matthews was a member of the Ontario Society of Artists and famously apprenticed with Group of Seven artist A.J. Casson.
